Meera and Zeenat are two young women from different parts of India whose destinies become inter-twinned when their worlds collide. Their husbands, Shankar and Amir, get jobs in Saudi Arabia, where they become room-mates. Then tragedy strikes. Shankar is killed and Amir arrested for his murder and sentenced to death. However, if Meera, Shankar's widow agrees to pardon her husband's killer, his life can be spared. So Zeenat sets out on a quest to save Amir's life.
